Forget Dimbleby and the politicians!  We have a panel of senior practitioners to answer questions from the audience on resolving disputes in the Valuation Tribunal for England.  The consultation currently being undertaken by the VTE could result in the largest change to affect rating practitioners and their clients since the modern era of rating revaluations, so it's your chance to hear directly what the proposed changes are and have your say within earshot of the decision-makers.

The rules are simple! There are issues the panel will address and we invite questions from our audience - to be submitted in advance of the meeting.  Our desire is to give the panel the chance to decide the order in which to take the questions.  The audience will be invited to make statements during the meeting, but questions should be tabled in advance.

Questions can address the following;

  • Are 1000 tribunal decisions from 115000 appeals an adequate return?
  • Timetabling
  • New Rules
  • Disclosure of evidence
  • Lead Appeals
  • Changes to Practice
  • The future of VT members

But really the audience will decide!

Refreshments will follow the question time.
